Commemmoration of "Taraki" Sivaram's murder

An eminent journalist and attached to island Newspaper of Colombo. Sivaram hailing from Batticaloa ,was the son of a State councillor and wealthy coconut Estates Owner.He gave up his life in pursuit of his ideals. Diplomats from many countries tried to pursuade him to come to their own country.But,he resisted these and paid a price
