Three roads developed to connect Sri Lanka's North and South

Apr 09, Colombo: The Sri Lankan government says that President Mahinda Rajapaksa had initiated a programme that had developed three roads to connect the North and the South of the country.
Economic Development Minister Basil Rajapaksa has said that three roads connecting the North and South have been developed under the road development programme.



Minister Rajapaksa has said that this new road development project would help link the people of the North and South in post war Sri Lanka.

The Minister has made these comments at a ceremony to commence a project to pave eight roads in the Walapane area.

The government has commenced a road development project to increase connectivity as an endeavor to develop the country's economy.
